About
The name sounds like hotel software, but we mean it from the guest’s side: hospitality is the good table and the good room, and smart is choosing them well.
The sections
Smart Hospitality, or smahosp for short, treats a trip’s meals as its timetable and fits everything else round them. The sections follow a trip from choosing the city to the room, the counter, the walking tour and the carry-on, then home to the stove, where the recipes cook it again in an ordinary kitchen.
Each city gets a free food guide in the same shape, and City Tables, sold as a download, is the longer edition of one city.
Every place in a city guide is checked on its own website, and the guide carries the date of that check. Prices are in pounds and euros, for readers in the UK and Europe first.
The writers are on Authors. If a place has closed or a price has gone up, tell us on Contact.
Who writes here
Each city guide is signed by someone who lives in that city, and each recipe by the cook who wrote it.
